About the evidence

This read-only site searches 310,598 Sarasota County property records from the September 25, 2026 snapshot and links accepted state lodging-license matches. It includes unmatched lodging addresses as separately labeled results.

It is not a database of proven violations. Historical ads, homestead exemptions, licenses and missing records do not independently establish illegal rental activity. Current bookings are not verified.

Source records: Sarasota Property Appraiser public roll and county parcel GIS; Florida DBPR district-7 lodging extract. Full daily vacation-rental location inventory completeness is unverified. Municipal registration rosters are not connected. State and local registration are separate.

Results distinguish state license evidence, exact-address rental advertisements, historical ads and unresolved listing leads. License findings are computed across the whole snapshot; advertisement coverage remains limited. A property without an advertisement match is not classified as a non-rental. No sample property is featured.

County source files remain a dated snapshot. Visitors may submit listing links for private review without making an account. Optional contact details and private notes are visible only to administrators. Only approved links and public summaries appear on property pages; private notes and contributor identities are not public. Review decisions are saved in hosted storage and approved evidence appears without a code deployment. Official-source refresh and automated listing discovery are not yet scheduled.
